You will first receive approval from this government agency (DED) to make modifications to your company license.

Fill out an objection-free certificate.
In order for the holder to add activities to the trade license, a NOC is a legal document that notifies parties that the issuer has no objections to the holder conducting a certain commercial activity.

Formalities for agreements to add operations to a trade license
An LLC Agreement requires you to fill out an appendix from a legal translator. Then, at the DED, the Notary Public is required to certify to this appendix. Additionally, your business must complete a court agreement at the notary.

Fill out these necessary forms in order to add activities to a Trade License.
- The original certificate of registration and business license
- A completed application for a company license and registration
- A copy of the office space lease agreement for your business
- The UAE Registry Office’s certificate of first approval for your company name
- The board resolution of the parent firm adding operations to the trade license (if your company qualifies)
- The Department of Economic Development‘s (DED) approval
- A certificate of non-objection (NOC)
- Attested modifications to court and LLC agreements
- The Memorandum of Association (MOA) may be amended to include additional activities related to your trade license.
STEP 7
Obtain a fresh Trade License
You will be notified via email when the DED approves the procedure for adding activities to the trade license, at which point you must pay for and complete the acquisition of your new business license.
